Heartbreaking: Brian Lara Trinidadian cricketer Just Passed Away At the Aged of 55…see..more…Indies legend Brian Lara has named Australian rivals Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath among the best bowlers he has ever faced.

The 51-year-old played 131 Tests and 299 ODIs for the West Indies, in a career that spanned 1990 to 2007.

Lara holds the records for the highest individual score in a Test match (400 not out) and in first-class cricket (501 not out).

“I have decided to raise my hand up and give you my top fives,” Lara wrote on his Instagram page on Wednesday.

The Trinidad and Tobago left-hander had epic battled with Warne and McGrath during the 1990s and 2000s and named them in his top five bowlers.

Along with Warne and McGrath are former Pakistan stars Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.

Lara also named the top five batsmen that he has played against.

He named Indian duo Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid in the top five, along with Australian Ricky Ponting, South African Jacques Kallis, and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakarra.

As for cricketers of the current era, Lara named Jasprit Bumrah, James Anderson, Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, and Kagiso Rabada in his top five bowlers.

His top five batsmen of the current generation include Kane Williamson, who the ICC named the world’s number one Test batsman on Thursday, as well as Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, and AB de Villiers.
