The Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders don’t strike me as having the classiest fan bases across the board. I know fans who actually get into physical altercations are a small minority amongst the vast majority of society who can put aside their differences for several hours, agree to disagree on which football team they like, and coexist while rooting their players on.

But yeah, if you had an unrealistically specific Mad Libs to fill out and the prompt was “Team X fans” in one blank fighting with “Team Y fans” in another blank, the Steelers and Raiders faithful would be among the prime suspects. Or maybe I’m just projecting team identities onto the fans. Pittsburgh’s team has a hard-nosed edge and defensive mentality blended with some chaos (see: Antonio Brown, Big Ben, etc.). The Raiders are perpetually dysfunctional and have a sort of identity crisis in terms of organizational culture and actual location, having moved from Oakland to LA, back to Oakland, and now to Las Vegas.
