General admission tickets for the event are $250 and include a question-and-answer luncheon with Smith, while VIP tickets are going for $500 and include a photo and semi-private meeting with the football star. Tickets can be purchased online.
Johnson was among the first candidates to enter the mayoral contest back in January but is facing stiff opposition ahead of the Nov. 5 General Election. Amid a slate of 10 candidates that includes three sitting El Paso City Council members, the election is almost certainly headed to a runoff.
